NATURAL SCIENCE EDUCATION

It was the last week before Christmas vacation. In this week we had examination duties only. I went school on four days . On some days I got examination duty , it was a nice experience as an invigilator. Signing on answer sheets, collecting and sorting them etc were new experience for me. On some days there were exams for different standards on same time. Giving answer sheets, collecting them according to the time schedule were our responsibilities that require proper attention.

On this week we couldn't take any class because the Christmas exam was started on 11th December. On Monday Christmas celebration was conducted, we took part in the celebration. The celebration was very joyful with the santaclaus, carrols, cakes and crib. Many teams from different classes sang carrols. We enjoyed a lot. On 11th December Christmas examination started. I went to school on these days and got invigilation duties on most days. 14th December, Friday it was a hartal day and I couldn't go to the school. On this week we got many new experience as we took part in conducting celebration and examination. 

In this week we got five working days. As the Christmas exam is being scheduled for 11 th December every teachers of the school was very busy with completing the portions for the exam. I too had a responsibility to complete the lesson faster. So I took extra periods to complete the lessons on time. On few times I couldn’t follow the lesson plan as such. On Monday (3 rd December)    got two periods, I took the lesson ‘kidney diseases’ in class 9P and ‘Virus’ in class 8K.   Our optional teacher visited my class and gave me some advice to make the class more effective. On Tuesday (4 th December) I had no periods as per the time schedule allotted and I didn’t get any extra periods. So I spend time to complete lesson plans. On Wednesday (5 th December) I took the lesson Biosphere in class 8G. On Thursday I had took 5 periods even I had only one period allotted as time table. Two periods were used to conduct a pre-test as part of my project. On other three periods I...

In this week we got only three working days for taking our lesson. On Monday and Tuesday ( 26th and 27th November)  our school was a venue for District school kalolsavam. So there were no regular class, but we went school and worked in association with kalolsavam. That was a new experience for us. On Wednesday there were regular class, I got only one period. It was on third period in class 8K. I took the lesson 'Five Kingdom Classification'. On Thursday also I got one period, on class 9P. There I took the lesson 'Excretion in Plants'. On Friday, 30th November there were no regular class due to a strike. Saturday was a working day for the school according to the Monday's time table. On that day I took two lessons, each on class 8 and 9. On 9P I took the lesson 'Haemodialysis' and on class 8K I took the lesson 'Six Kingdom Classification'.
